Okay, so I've been MIA for awhile now. I swear I'll do better but this fall has been full of unexpected events including my return to daycare as I have been watching my niece's kiddos while balancing my band mom duties. But I will have to admit my great niece and her brothers are adorable...when I'm not wanting to pull my hair out.
Of course during all this time, my children have been pestering me - okay downright nagging me to finish The Arrival. So despite all my various deadlines for my other pen name, and the multitude of things going on with winter sports and having a son graduate in May, I will finish The Arrival this winter. (After all, a promise is a promise!) There will be a few changes to the book as I've decided to switch from first person to third. It's very difficult to write in first person. I'm not sure what I was thinking trying to embark on not only a new genre, but also a new writing style. If all goes well it will hopefully hit Amazon and Barnes and Noble in the spring.
But before that can happen, I need to commit to updating my blog on a regular basis. With that being the case starting on Dec 7th we will see the return of my weekly features: Sunday Fun, Wednesday Snippet, and Friday Treats! But be sure to check out the blog on Dec 6th, as I'll be participating in the Kid Lit Giveaway Hop: Holiday Extravaganza being hosted by Mother and Daughter Reviews.
So be sure to keep your eyes peeled for blog hops, guest posts as well as a few reviews along the way. The calendar is filling up fast.
